We were asked by Enjoy Switzerland to create slogans and logos that would clearly differentiate and position nine key tourist destinations in the canton of Fribourg. The new identities have to ensure that each destination is perceived as different from its neighbours within the canton, but still need to fit within the overall brand for Fribourg Region.
Working with the clients, our strategy and communications team established a clear market position for each location, based on a study of its customer profile carried out by Enjoy Switzerland and local tourism organisations. We then created slogans in three languages (in French, German and English), which our designers fashioned into distinctive logos for each destination. Currently working with local Tourist Offices on the implementation of these new positions on the ground, we have also worked with Enjoy Switzerland on projects in Leysin and Yverdon-les-Bains.
Our teams worked on two different winter campaigns within the Lake Geneva Region in 2011-12.
Promoting the area to first-time winter visitors with a gently tongue-in-cheek media campaign, the Jura offer linked free snowshoe or ski hire with accommodation bookings in local hotels. Our photoshoots, radio spots and press adverts built a campaign which we are developing further this winter, using a dedicated microsite created to maintain campaign momentum.
In the Alpes Vaudoises area, we produced a campaign across a variety of media to support the “Free up to 9 years old” offer. These included a child-oriented website with Flash game, animated TV spots, roll-ups, press adverts and advertisements in trains. For winter 2012-13 MEO Digital Solutions is working on an innovative smartphone application to improve data capture and CRM for the campaign. This campaign contains a number of reactive improvement tools, using performance measurements to continuously tailor the campaign in light of customer response.
Our designers developed a visual identity and logo for this annual campaign that the World Health Organisation can use across several promotional platforms. We then produced posters, a roll-up in French and English, and a video in six languages (French, English, Spanish, Russian, Chinese and Arabic). The video was broadcast on CNN, helping to support the campaign around the world.
This range of tools supports WHO’s education efforts about the importance of vaccination programmes, uniting countries across the globe every year for a week of vaccination campaigns and public education about this most cost-effective of health interventions.
Our designers developed a new visual identity for Early Beck, to provide coherence to the bakery's range of over 30 products and to reinforce its image as as it expanded from its base in Gstaad. This identity was used to create new designs for the packaging of the company's renowned bakery products and chocolates, as well as their stationery and promotional materials.
The result is a fresh and warm design which communicates the high quality of the Early Beck products and makes them a pleasure to buy and share. With its use of traditional découpage motifs and simple, bold colour scheme it celebrates their 100 year heritage in the Saanenland and Pays-d’EnHaut region.
MEO Digital Solutions worked with our design team to completely revise the structure and design of this website, showcasing the breathtaking photography promoted by FEP in its worldwide exhibitions programme. We also created a range of presentation dossiers to support proposals for the individual exhibitions.
With an interactive map, promotion of a number of exhibitions and a lot of very high-quality photographic content, the website programming for this site was complex. The key was to ensure easy navigation and fast loading for photograph-heavy pages, allowing viewers to appreciate the many stunning images presented.
The result is a powerful tool, which has allowed FEP to build and maintain a stronger and more credible image with their target audience of museum and gallery buyers.
We devised a concept for this campaign to promote wine tourism in the Lake Geneva Region, then designed, coded and launched the microsite www.waadtland.ch in German and French to support it. Traffic was driven to the site by creating press advertisements, a flyer and animated skyscraper web banners, and conversion rates have been significantly higher than in previous campaigns.
The resulting site offers a variety of wine-related short break offers in and around the beautiful vineyard areas of the Lake Geneva Region, with the promotion running until the end of December 2012.
